3-D Intraoral Scanner Medit i700

Digital Impressions (also known as 3-D intraoral scanning) are the latest technology in capturing a replica of the mouth. After taking a scan of the mouth, a dentist can immediately send the digital impression to a lab where dentures, crowns, bridges, and retainers can be made quickly and accurately .In our practice, impressions are taken using the  intraoral scanner MEDIT i700. The process is very comfortable to the patient since no silicone impression is inserted in the mouth thus avoiding a gag reflex and the bad taste associated with such procedures .The digital impression is completed within a couple of minutes and then it is sent via email to the lab to continue the digital workflow.
