Dr Saratsis graduated from the Dental School of Julius Maximilians University in Würzburg, Germany in 2006. He then worked for two years as a dentist in a private practice in Bamberg, Germany, mainly on immobile and fixed prosthodontics, implant prosthetics, dental surgery and endodontics.

In November 2009 he started his specialty in Oral Surgery, being trained in a private clinic with special interest in Oral, Maxillofacial and Facial Plastic Surgery and in a public hospital in Pforzheim, Germany, where in December 2012 he successfully acquired the title of Specialist Oral Surgeon.

He holds a PhD degree on the research of „physical and rheological properties of alloplastic phosphate magnesium bone transplants“ that he acquired from the Functional Materials Department of Würzburg University Medical School. He also attended several postgraduate seminars in Implantology, organised by the German Society of Implantology (DGI). In July 2016 he acquired his Medical Degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Along with his studies in Medical School, he was also a scientific associate at Thessaloniki Dental Clinic being responsible for Oral Surgery and Implantology cases.

From March 2017 to April 2021 he completed his Training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the academic teaching maximal care hospital of the Universtity of Tübingen „Katharinenhospital“ in Stuttgart, Germany. He is currently being trained in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the same hospital.
